Kim’s business support career spans the best part of 30 years; starting off in the motor trade, and finally becoming EA with a large regional law firm. In this role, Kim provided comprehensive business support to the Managing Partner, and secretarial support at core management and Executive Board meetings. She also played an active role in strategic projects, including supporting the launch of the first Chinese-owned/UK-regulated law firm, YangTze Law.
Kim was also Head of Professional Support and worked alongside other Departmental Support Team Leaders to manage secretarial resources (80 staff across three offices). This included undertaking a review of working practices, which led to the restructuring of the support function.
Kim is the Founder of the Exeter PA Network, launched in June 2012 and which now has around 650 members. In 2018, she won the WeAreTheCity Rising Star award, and was named as one of Exeter’s Top 100 Most Influential Women.
Now self-employed, Kim enjoys life on the coast, where she can be found walking her dogs or enjoying a cocktail or two!
