    It’s Everybody’s Business
Employee engagement is transformational when spread throughout an organisation ‘top-down’ and ‘bottom-up’. Engagement is embedded best where leaders are enthusiastic, setting expectations, role-modelling engaging behaviour, and actively driving the organisation to think and behave differently. Equally necessary (and potentially more powerful) is the nurturing of an approach where all employees, regardless of status, are encouraged to collaborate in creating a positive culture to influence changes in the workplace. PAs are critical players on this journey, often deciding on who, when, and where the connections are made. In this session, Rob will highlight the four key enablers of Employee Engagement. He will also share the secrets of how to create a dynamic, vibrant, and sustainable network to increase levels of engagement and embrace positive cultural change across the organisation.

A Story of Triumph Through Adversity
Growing, sustaining and supporting a business in today’s ever-changing professional landscape is tough. You have to continually educate yourself and diversify to survive. No easy task, particularly if you’re also dealing with undiagnosed dyslexia. Leaving school with no qualifications and being continually told that he would never amount to much, Darren Clark felt he had little hope of making anything of himself. However, what people failed to take into account was his complete determination to do just that by thinking outside of the box. He has since gone on to be an inspirational speaker, serial entrepreneur, business growth coach, and co-founder of the Spotless Group, an organisation comprising of five separate companies with over 300 employees. Darren’s story is one of inspiration through adversity, showing us that anything is possible if you work hard and believe in yourself, but also that in this world, thinking differently can be your greatest advantage!

In Life You Never Stop Learning
You’ll leave here today a different person, you will have added to your tool kit, will be thinking bigger than before and you’ll be stronger in the mind that will help you grow as a person. Remember learning uses creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge and knowledge certainly makes you great in what you do. A key in what you’ll learn is how you define yourself, who you associate with and how you absorb your time, as the title says in life you never stop learning!

Creating Watercooler Moments - The Art of Working Virtually
Virtual meetings are no longer "Tommorow's World" science. Companies want to harness cost savings and efficiencies of working virtually, but increasingly what seemed a wonderful idea for PAs/admin professionals, has gone wrong for big business: Yahoo cancelled all their telecommuting contracts within a year of Marissa Meyer joining; PWC insist on their virtual employees coming into the office once a week. Technology isn't enough, we also need the soft skills to support this new way of working. As a specialist in creating virtual teams, Caroline Wylie talks you through how you can manage a remote boss.

Developing Greater Trust with Your Manager
Trust is one of the main elements in the PA/Manager relationship. In fact, it may be THE main element. Without it, the partnership cannot be as effective or as productive as it should be, and can quickly breakdown. As a PA, you work with highly confidential and sensitive information. In order for you to do your job – and your manager to do theirs - you need encourage a high degree of trust and understanding between you. Respect and loyalty are two of the most important qualities, but others such as commitment, showing accountability, and being clear and transparent in dealings with colleagues can also demonstrate your honesty and integrity. As a former PA himself, Paul understands that having that confidence and rapport is vital to both manager and assistant. In this session, he will be sharing his advice on developing and maintaining a high level of trust on both sides, and will discuss how you can both benefit from this strengthening of your working relationship.
