    Association of Celebrity Assistants UK - PAnel
    In the last few years, many Networks for PAs have arisen, thanks to the internet and social media. In this session, we will be chatting to members of the Association of Celebrity Assistants UK. They will answer all your questions and more! Michelle joined TONI&GUY in September 1998. She loved the brand and wanted to be part of this young, fashionable and trendy company. Throughout her time there she has been a Receptionist, Reception Manager, Assistant Manager of a salon, PR Assistant and is now currently the PA to CEO Toni Mascolo OBE, as well as the newly appointed International Business Manager. Having been a PA for a range of Cricket, Olympic and Paralympic athletes and Sport Broadcasters for several years prior, Cate has now been EA to cricketer Kevin Pietersen and pop star Jessica Pietersen for the last four years. Alongside her role as the Pietersen’s EA, Cate heads up the events for Kevin Pietersen’s charity – the KP24 Foundation. A Law and International Relations graduate herself, Cate has worked on a number of brand campaigns and large sponsorship deals during her time at Mission Sports Management and nowadays combines this with ensuring everything in Kevin and Jessica’s personal and professional lives runs as smoothly as possible. After training as a professional dancer in London Jen found an alternative passion to get her out of bed every morning – organising! Now with nearly 8 years’ PA/EA experience under her belt Jen has worked across a variety of industries and businesses. In 2015 Jen was drawn back into the world of Formula 1 where she is now the assistant to a very busy Chief Technical Officer; overseeing much of the activity within the Design Office and staying calm in an ever-changing environment where no two days are the same Jen proudly works for Williams Formula 1 and couldn’t imagine a working life in a world any less exciting!

    Mind-blowing Excel Shortcuts
    Many PAs have a fear of using Excel. Most can use it to add numbers together, but when was the last time you used concatenate? Imagine you are emailed a spreadsheet and it has gaps everywhere you look. How can you clean up your data in seconds? And don’t get me started with Charts! Perhaps you have some important data and you want to highlight the trends shown within it. PAul promises to raise your Excel expertise.     Keynote: The Bullying Will Stop
    An office environment fraught with conflict can make PAs feel unsettled and distraught and can lead to productive employees actively seeking alternative employment. Our survey indicates this is often as a result of a breakdown in employee/employer relations. Family Lives recognises that workplace bullying is undoubtedly going to impact on family life. It would be very hard for anyone not to bring troubles home from work, but the pressure that a situation at work can put on relationships can make family life extremely turbulent. Support is out there and Anastasia De Waal will discuss how the workplace should be an environment of professionalism, respect and courtesy and whilst many employers are committed to establishing a bullying-free zone, it is clear that work still needs to be done. Anastasia will cite Family Lives’ research and offer Tips for Employers and employees who wish to tackle bullying in the workplace
